I've been living here awhile now but here are some of the photos I've taken recently

Me and my boyfriend and my family stayed up in a cabin this Christmas at Mahoeny state park. these photos are of the water fall there and my boyfriend himself. I just really felt like taking some pictures It's been a long time since I've been out taking photos. Just a busy life but I'm trying to start to take photos for myself now. These photos where kind of my restart to photography. I took these at the prairie peace park, but these were senior photos. I really enjoyed taking them. I may be a bit stunted from my time not taking photos but I'm ready to work back to where I was. I was commissioned to take some photos for abandoned houses here in Lincoln for cover art for some wonderful music. After listening to the music I felt very inspired and went to take theses photos. Bom Circo is a local circus in Lincoln Ne. I was very lucky to be able to hang out with them while they practice. 2016 will be the 2nd year that they are preforming in Lincoln. Sunday, may, 3, 2015. What was meant to be a afternoon of sand volley ball, turns into a down pour. A spring shower like no other so far this year. With my 70-200 f/2.8 l there was no way i was going to let the rain pass without capturing such pure moments with a group of mt closet friends. they were out in the rain until hail started to fall. With everyone laughing and sopping wet, there was no where i would have rather been. later we found out that we were dancing in the middle of a tornado warning zone. talk about a photo opportunity. This whole past week has just been gross, with the mist everyday but Tuesday i had high hopes for the weather to produce so great photos. Gotta say, it was pretty great. Though cold and wet, and windy, we still got some good shots down at antelope park. Its been herd through the grape vine, that the famous prairie peace park has finally, after years of being on the market sold. the park first opened in 1994, off interstate 80. In its glory days the park attacked about 600 visitors yearly. was sold to a transcendental mediation group in Fairfeild, Iowa, 2005. scene than the place has kinda gone to the dogs. trash lay out front of the park that at one time was coveted my many hippies. This is were i shoot my series "BROKEN PEACE" With the Monday's warm weather my cabin fever got ever worse. It's been a good awhile since i've been able to get outside to take photos, with all the freezing cold weather and all. so this past Mondays 40 degree weather felt really good. I packed up my gear and got in my car and headed out toward Bennett NE. After a good amount of driving i found i sweet looking barn and no no trespassing sign. with gloves and camera donned, i set out to get a few shoots. whaile setting up a mirror by a tree i saw one of those deer cameras. dude they so have some very werid photos for me taking photos. man, you never really know what you will run into sometimes.   |
